Nairobi is a city, financial capital,
administrative capital, province and the capital of Kenya. The main
languages spoken here are Swahili and English. There are visible police
patrols as means to increase security.. There are many churches, mosques
and temples where people of different faiths go to worship. Restaurants
serve almost every kind of food, from local dishes to the most exotic.
Curries from India and Pakistan are very popular as is Chinese, Arabian

An opportunity to see the highlights of the “Green City in the Sun’. Our tour visits the national Museum, Kenya’s famours snake park and the colourful city market. You will see Parliament buildings, Kenyatta Conference Centre and many of Nairobi’s historical buildings.
DOA 02 – NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK
Daily – 2.00 pm – 4 hours
Within half an hour’s drive of the city centre, the Nairobi National Park provides a fascinating glimpse of Kenya’s wildlife heritage. The park is bordered on one side by the city; the other is open allowing animals to migrate freely. During the game drive we hope to see black rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, buffalo, hippo, ostrich and many types of antelope.
DOA 03 – KAREN BLIXEN/GIRAFFE MANOR/UTAMADUNI CENTRE
Daily- 2.00 p.m. – 4 hours
Tour the Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe Centre and Utamaduni Craft Centre.
DOA 04 – THE CARNIVORE
Daily 12.30 pm & 7.00pm
Lunch or dinner at Nairobi’s Carnivore restaurant, famous for its succulent steaks, barbecue dishes and game meals.
DOA 05 – REIFT VALLEY LAKES
Daily – 08.00 a.m. – full day – Day trip L. Nakuru
Drive from Nairobi over the eastern wall of the Great Rift Valley, down past Lakes Naivasha and Elementaita and on to lake Nakuru National Park for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the Park which is a sanctuary to millions of flamingoes, black rhino and other rare species of game. Return to Nairobi just before dusk.

As part of the David Sheldrick Conservation Foundation rehabilitates
baby elephants and other wildlife here at her home just outside of Nairobi
National Park. These babies have lost their mothers to poaching, death,
injuries, on getting lost in the wild or other tragedies. Daphne and
her dedicated staff raise them to be released back into the wild when
they are ready. Its worth visiting and see humanitarian care to the
wildlife and the heart it takes to care. They charge a small entrance
fee. Instead you can buy a souvenir or donate for the conservation.
Giraffe Manor
The Giraffe Manor Africa's
pride of international celebrity. Since its founders, Jock and Betty
Leslie-Melville, rescued a baby giraffe named Daisy from a heavily-poached
area of western Kenya in 1974, their home has become a household name
among wildlife lovers world-wide - and Daisy a star in her own right.
Today, Daisy's home has
been opened to the world - and provides what is
felt is the very best place to begin or end your safari or if in a conference
or transit it worth coming close to wildlife from the bustle of the
city where you feed giraffes with your own hands and have the closest
touch. Other animals includes the tortoise, warthog and a parrot.

Nairobi National Park
Kenya's first ever National Park is a unique and unspoilt wildlife haven
within sight of the city's skyline. Rhino, buffalo, cheetah, zebra,
giraffe, lion and plenty of antelopes and gazelles can be seen roaming
in this open plains country with a section of highland forest as well
as stretches of broken bush country, deep, rocky valleys and gorges
with scrub and long grass. Ornithologists catch with over 300 bird species
including the Secretary bird, crowned cranes, vultures, peckers and
many more.
